The identity for the Nashville Photography Club happened in the inverse of the usual visual brand development project. As a member of the Club, I volunteered to design the Club newsletter, which was well-received by the members. A few years later, a new Club president thought it was time to update the logo and asked me to design it. To build continuity, I drew upon the basic typography in the newsletter masthead. The members enthusiastically embraced the logo and t-shirt sales have been brisk.
